ABOUt ME
I am a highly skilled video editor with over 15 years of experience. I love the collaborative nature of being an editor. I work extensively in Avid, Premiere, and Resolve, and After Effects. I have a playful approach to editing aimed at making the most out of the available material. I am skilled at turning liabilities into assets and stretching "good" into "great."
I go by either Dave or David. I enjoy troubleshooting and solving technical challenges. I get excited about playing with new video software or video equipment. I have been told that I have good “bedside manner.” I can expound on the virtues John Carpenter films (even most of his later ones) for a long time. I also really like fried chicken, Ennio Morricone, and the Oxford comma.
